Youth Politik
Designed in partnership between the City of Vancouver, Park Board, School Board, Library, the youth community and youth in the community. The goals of the program are to increase awareness of civic issues and stimulate interest in youth engagement in public processes. Youth were matched with elected officials, learned about how Council works, debated topics of interest, and mapped out ways to take action in their communities. Applications will be accepted in Jan 2008, and the program will begin in February. Please inquire with Tom for more info, or to apply.
